Rock House

Originally dating back to the 1720's, Rock House is a Grade II listed Georgian house situated in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Alport. Located between the thriving market town of Bakewell and the pretty village of Youlgrave, Rock House is well positioned to explore Derbyshire's Peak District. Traded for land by the Duke of Rutland in the 1800's the house has a fascinating history, with many of the original features still forming part of the beautifully modernised and upgraded building.
